LEARN MALAYALAM LANGUAGE AT LANGMA SCHOOL OF LANGUAGES

Malayalam is a language widely spoken in Kerala in particular, and in certain areas of Tamilnadu, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep Islands. It is also widely spoken among the Malayali diaspora all over the world, including Middle Eastern (Arabic) and Western countries. As the Malayali diaspora spreads all over the world, Malayalam language is on its way to being recognised as one of the leading languages in the professional and business arena.

 

Malayalam Writing

Malayalam is written with the Vatteluttu alphabet (വട്ടെഴുത്ത്Vaṭṭeḻuttŭ), which means ’round writing’ and developed from the Brahmi script. It is interesting to note that Malayalam is also regularly written as a version of the Arabic script by Muslims in Singapore and Malaysia, and occasionally by Muslims in Kerala.

Learning Malayalam at Langma can be a fun experience. The program is structured to get you speaking Malayalam as quickly as possible through communicative methods (i.e. verbal, non-verbal, oral, and written). You’ll be able to master the language if you complete the course in the specified manner in which our professional trainers advise and train you in.

 

The teaching style at Langma School of Languages is simple. The Malayalam program for beginners at Langma is structured in three levels: elementary, intermediary, and advanced. Each level includes two modules that are further divided into four categories (i.e. listening, speaking, reading, and writing).

At each level, we provide study material that includes an 8GB pen drive and a one-time dictionary.
After the completion of each level, a written exam will be taken.
They are 3 levels in total with each level being 100 hours long.
Placement available after  successful completion of C2 Level.

Elementary Level (A1)

At Level A1, you will be taught the fundamentals of Malayalam, including the alphabet, shapes of letters, vowels, pronouns, prepositions, and other particles. The level also gives you a strong foundation by teaching you common words like numbers, days, colours, relations, foods, dresses, and so on. Plenty of spoken sessions that deal with the basic common expressions in Malayalam will be held so that you may get the hang of words that are frequently used in Malayalam.

 

Elementary Level (A2)

Langma International has designed Level A2 in a very effective way. Those who have completed Level A1 efficiently or those who have basic knowledge of this language will find this level more interesting and engaging. We will focus more on the structure of language construction. It will pave you the way to use the language in its structure. The grammar part of the level includes parts of speech, sentences, singular and plural, adverbs, adjectives, etc. It also teaches you the vocabulary of time, parts, vegetables, and the like. The level will increase your talking capacity through training of using common expressions. The practice classes of the session, focusing on listening audio-video clips, on speaking over the phone will increase the communication capacity of the seeker in this language.

 

 

Intermediate Level (B1)

Level B1 makes you a master of the basic grammar of the language. In this level, you will be taught a variety of creative sentence-making patterns which include conditional sentences, conjugations of verbs, etc. As far as the vocabulary is concerned, the level gives you the terms of nouns as animals, birds, parts of the human body, institutions, nature, weather, languages, countries, and currencies.

 

Intermediate Level (B2)

This level is intended to help you achieve mastery over the advanced grammar of the language. At this level, the focus is more on the reading section, such as preparing you to read and understand short stories, poems, and songs of the wonderful language. The vocabulary part looks into the terms related to the professional world, especially job-related and home equipment area. Therefore, Langma International gives you special spoken classes for Malayalam, where the concentration is more on mundane conversations and mostly professional life.

 

 

Advance Level (C1)

Langma International makes you an advanced speaker, writer, and listener in the language at the C1 level. This beautifies your language and writing skills. It moulds a seeker into a professional writer of the language. The practice classes of the session which focuses on listening part such as audio-video clips, speaking over the phone, writing essays on several topics and news-making will increase the creativity of the seeker while dealing with the same. At this level, you will be more familiar with the vocabulary of technical products, medicals, sports, and politics. The conversations of offices and tourisms are the attraction of level.

 

Advance Level (C2)

Through this level, Langma International makes you an advanced professional of Malayalam. You will study here how to create CVs and other documents. If you complete the session, you will be guided how an application form should be filled, how a data should be searched on the internet, and so on. The listening part would include conversations, interviews, and speeches, and the way we have structured this level would make you a prolific language legend.
